I remember as a child I used to make sand castles
Life was so much simpler then
Back in the days when the world revolved around happiness
But now that all I have left is tears
And broken memories
I've turned a corner I do not like
And in order to make things better I know what I must do
Here I remain in myself... to contemplate, regulate, restrict...
I am my own parents... and I will stay in control
and my happiness will come to me again
from a bottle and a glass of water and a stained linoleum floor
